The 3-legged rescue CeeCee has taken another turn for the worse. She has been strictly indoors for the past 5 days now and mostly confined to her bedroom and she has not used the litterbox at all for at least 4 days now, even though shes drinking an excessive amount of water. Shes barely eating at all, which is not normal for her-she was eating like it was her last meal. I did get her to eat by spoon-feeding her some canned food last night, but even then it was very little. She feels like shes lost quite a bit of weight and has become more listless. She still seems to be struggling with the upper respiratory issues and ears, even after 2 weeks of antibiotics and penicillin shot. The vet says theres no way to determine what issues she has without labwork, and possibly a GI scope. Bloodwork alone is $150, and that doesnt include any FIV or Fel leuk testing-which may also be a possibility. Shes been too sick to have any vaccinations at this point, which has not been a concern until we get her well. She unfortunately doesnt seem to be getting there yet. I know its only a few days before Christmas, but can anybody help me to get some diagnostics done so we can come up with a treatment plan for her?
