The 3rd Annual BC Thanksgiving Food Drive bctfooddrive.org/ Approximately 35, 000 donation bags will be dropped this week at homes throughout Greater Victoria. Anyone wishing to make a donation of non-perishable food items is asked to place them in the bag and leave it on their doorstep before 9:30 a.m. on Collection Day, September 21st. Our volunteers will travel back through their neighbourhoods to collect these donations. Cash contributions are not solicited door-to-door. You can also donate at the 3 collecting stations located at 2990 Quadra St, 701 Mann Av and the Langford RONA at 850 Langford Parkway on Sat Sep 21, between 10-1 pm. Food supplies at the local food banks are at a critical low. The 4 Local Participating Food Banks in the Greater Victoria are are: Sidney Lions Food Bank Goldstream Food Bank Society The Mustard Seed Food Bank Salt Spring Island Community Services Food Bank Thank you so much for your support of this cause.
