The "48 Hours of TDI" are a go... What does that mean? Quite a bit actually. A group of "tough as nails" journalists and some of my own team are going for a little drive in some of the most fantastic automobiles ever to drive a roadway anywhere. The vehicles in question consist of the hyper efficient and ultra luxurious Audi A6 TDI, A7 TDI, and Q5 TDI. The route map is attached. I also added another stipulation. The vehicles will attempt to cross the entire Continent from LA to NY City in < 48 hours at > EPA highway. That includes 4 refueling stops, 12 driver swaps, and 8 rest area stops. Is that a challenge drive or what :D Stay tuned...
