The 5th leg of our Philippine Mission Trip: Tuesday, July 1st - TopicsExpress

The 5th leg of our Philippine Mission Trip: Tuesday, July 1st we started at 6am by packing up and heading over to one of the prisons that missionary Len Young has been ministering for the last 15 years. He told us that when he first started coming the people were very cold and violent. After he spent several years of ministering faithfully once every week, the people as well as the guards have changed. After hearing & trusting in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, these prisoners became peaceful and friendly with one another. The warden as well as the guards have tremendously benefitted from Lens faithful ministering which they all look forward to him and his teams weekly visits. I was not allowed to take pictures inside of this harsh prison but you can see by the outside that here is no enclosed structures. They have extremely crowded cells with no windows and doors (no air conditioning also). Not a place to look forward to. We started by praising & worshiping. Then, we had testimonies from some of the inmates followed by a testimony from Ruby and a message from me. Ruby called all them down front to the area where we were located and 39 came. The rest listened from there cells. My message centered on 1 Corinthians 10:13 entitled You can When we got done 25 people gave their hearts to Jesus Christ in salvation and 12 men & 2 women got baptized that day. It was well worth it! Praise God! Note: these pictures of this prison dont show the true harsh conditions but take it from me - you dont want to be inside!
