The 70 Twins defeated the 78 Bosox 4-2 this afternoon but the bigger story is the magnificent season Harmon Killebrew continues to enjoy. Killebrew hit his 21st homer of the campaign in this game, which was the 54th game of the season. Thus, he is on pace to hit 63 dingers at this particular time. Killebrews overall numbers at the 1/3 mark are astounding: ..306 average. .404 on base percentage. .724 slugging percentage. 21 homers. 50 rbis. Heck the man even has 17 doubles, one triple, and a stolen base for good measure! On a personal note I must share that the man seems to be the absolute KING of nailing that 11-1 dice roll. I dont have the official data, but Id guess at least 15 of those dingers came from the 11 dice roll. Will Harmon continue his tear all the way to the All Star break and beyond?
