The 9 Week Prayer-Fast • Week 1: 1 Samuel 3 (Here Am I). During this week ask yourself….Are you really here for God? Where are you in your walk? Where have you stumbled? What are you willing to give up to get back on track? Share your favorite scriptures or scriptures that have been revealed to you during this week that allowed you to get closer to God in your current brokenness? • Week 2: 1 Chronicles 4:10 (Jabez Prayer of Honor and Remembrance)- Jabez was the least of his family but yet boldly sought God for a big request. This week as yourself…what do you seek from God today? What have you been seeking? Are you humble enough, lowly enough and broken enough, for God to build you up to a place to receive the request and more? Share your life testimony and what you are trusting God to do for you? • Week 3: Genesis 32 (Jacob’s Wrestle for a new name, new destiny, new life)- Jacob was perplexed and scared as his past came back to haunt him. Trickery and lies were his past but he was a new man. Ask yourself..where did you come from? What were once labelled as? Are you still that person or have you truly changed? What does God call you? Share a past name or identity that you rejoice in God now that you are known as Victorious -Wonderful-Amazing-Healed-Delivered-Overcomer-Achiever…who are you today? • Week 4: 1 Samuel 1 (Hannah’s last Hope)- Hannah was the most beloved yet the most mocked. She desired more than anything to be pregnant. Ask yourself…how much longer will you be mocked for being barren in your spiritual womb? How much longer can you be pregnant with purpose? What must God do as your mid wife to deliver the destiny and prosper within your life? How can He break your water today? Share with others what steps or excuses you are experiencing in your life or ministry today • Week 5: 1 Kings 3:9 (Solomon Silent Desire for Greatness)- Solomon had some big shoes to fill and knew it. He did not want to fill those shoes but wear some shoes that fit him perfectly in his quest to serve God. Ask yourself this week- Did you ever get your own shoes or are you trying to do this love walk like another? Have you found your niche in God? Are you praying for the right things or are you bent on greatness without blood, sweat, tears and true testimony behind great works and faith? Share with others steps and prayer you pray to get you through each day along your journey to fulfill your destiny in Christ • Week 6: Book of Jonah (The Man, the Prophet, The Runner, The Loner, The Quitter, and The Overcomer) Jonah was determined to do his way and no one else’s. He rejected God’s mercy on his enemies and fought hard to run from his assignment. And we all know what happened as a result. Ask yourselves….Have you not been in hell or the belly of the beast long enough? What should you do now? Is it too late? Can God hear you where you are? Does God even care? Share with us what your Jonah experience was like…and are you still in it that experience? • Week 7: 1 Kings 14:8 (David the True Repeater)-David reflects man as we are today. David sinned, repented and went through the motions like a washing machine. Ask yourselves…Have you come to place in your life where when you repent you truly mean it? Do you know how to ask for forgiveness? Do you feel as a Christian you are above sin or repentance? Share with us…times when even saved where you felt you had crossed the line of not being forgiven by God! • Week 8: Act 7:59 (True Forgiveness) Stephen prayed a prayer of forgiveness as he was being stoned. Jesus whispered a similar prayer while on the cross. Ask yourselves….after 8 weeks of effective prayer have you truly forgiven those who have used, abused, maimed, scorned, mocked, hated on and besmirched you? Will you ever? Can you truly go forward in God with a clean slate in mind with a dirty heart and soul? Are you a hypocrite now? Share with us ways we can learn to truly and humbly forgive others that are integral in how we feel or felt? • Week 9: Philippians 4:6 (Praise HIM in all thing) this scripture is leading us on the right track to remember how royalty in Christ should really act. Ask yourselves this week…..do I praise God in spite of? Do I praise Him for others? Do I worship in the midst of peril? Share what you have overcome and learn to praise God for in the midst of this prayer fast! No go and serve…as this was an exercise and testament of your faith in God and how He too can trust you on your next level, dimension and plane in servitude. Blessing be upon you.
