The 98 dark green honda civic I posted as stolen the Sunday before Thanksgiving from riverside (near van buren and magnolia) was recovered today in cerritos. I picked it up and have it now. Whoever stole it left a hat, small bag, mc donalds coffee cup, 1 end of an exploded crack pipe, and their cell phone. The cell phone looked like one of those kind where you pay for the minutes (non-contract) but it was still serviced by Verizon. I turned in these items to RPD today (which the front desk person at first didnt know if they needed this stuff????). Does anyone know if they will actually do anything with it? I dont want this happening to someone else...or worse
