The AEG SUT torpedo being loaded into KRI Cakra 401. The torpedo locally built by IAe (PT Dirgantara Indonesia) under the Allgemeine Elektrizitäts-Gesellschaft Germany license. The AEG SUT is Wire-guided heavyweight torpedo, the latest addition to the successful Seal/Seeschlange/SST-4 family. Launched from submarines or surface ships, it has advanced wide-field scanning ability. The submarine version (SUT Mod4) has a wire-guidance add-on; with a tube-mounted spool similar to the American Mk48 ADCAP.
