The ANC once inspired, the movement once had honor & dignity. It - TopicsExpress

The ANC once inspired, the movement once had honor & dignity. It carried the personalities of those who led it. Whatever happened to the ANC is painful. Maybe today the ANC should take this time to remember all those who died for freedom. And be sincere towards all those who live & have entrusted their lives & hopes to the movement. 21 March 1960, Sharpville massacre. 69 people died. Shot by the police, for their peaceful match against PASS LAWS (Pass laws were a form of internal passport system designed to segregate the population, severely limit the movements of the black African man & later woman, manage urbanization, and allocate where Africans were allowed to live & work). Today is a public holiday in South Africa, in honor of human rights and to commemorate all those who died for this freedom that I enjoy, for this liberty that I share. Our battle fields have changed. But our wars remain the same... (-_-) #SincereHumanRightsDay
