The Adventures of Ashley Nelson Studios: January 21st 2015 Rainbows: I went to City Hall and cried at everyones desk until I got the opportunity to cry at the supervisors desk. They wrote down all of the contractors info, sat down with me, told me they could save the day! and made me a plan. (My hero!) They were all very nice and accommodating. Butterflies: I won over the sheetrock guys by letting them know they left some of their equipment that they came by to pick up and texted me with a thank you and no mention of me owing them any money. Phew! Unicorns: I am moving into two temporary suites today! We will be turning a hair suite at Solera into a luxurious spa room! Stay tuned for how we are going to turn a shampoo bowl into a handwashing sink! Or how we are going to sound proof with lots and lots of pillows. Luckily, Erik and I happen to have at least 11 pillows that I packed with us on our honeymooning road trip ;) We will also be renting a spa suite at En Vogue on 119th and Glenwood nearby! Hooray for these two awesome women, Jennifer Stearns and Rachel Naster who have opened up their spaces to me during all of this craziness! Thank you thank you thank you. Best renters ever. Sunshine: I got the grand opportunity of changing my locks at the storefront and went with a really nice keypad style like the ones they have at Solera because Im spoiled. And I like my security right now during this vulnerable time. And also its pretty. And my team of lovelies have been up at the storefront with me painting and a fresh coat of paint does wonders. Yay! New things! Wine: Looks like architect plans are on my first order of things, does anyone have any contacts for someone to help me draw up some plans? Glug glug glug. *lawyer is on it *Legit contractors, plumbers, drywallers are on it *setting up a Go Fund Me and then *Problem Solvers *After I move into these spa suites of course
