The Affordable Care Act (ACA) seems to be the only thing on the Republicans’ minds. While having such an interest into health care from any lawmaker should been seen as a positive thing, unfortunately, the Republicans can only focus on getting rid of it. The problem is, the ACA is not just a bill or some brilliant idea anymore; it is the law of the land. Republicans seem to think they know about the laws in America, considering they are the first ones to jump on gun ownership and religious issues, but not when it comes to providing millions of Americans with the ability to afford health insurance. Louie Gohmert (R-TX), has let it slip that about 10 congressional Republicans have a meeting once a week to discuss ways to get rid of the ACA law.
