The Africa trip has been amazing so far. I have used all forms of transport you can imagine; from motorbike taxis (without a helmet, at night with a suitcase) to public bus, taxis, hitched a ride, used a ferry and are going to sleep on a boat crossing a lake next. I slept in all possible places you can think of from peoples houses in the rural area to nice hotels and even on buses. I used long drops that were so neat and clean that it would have put our grandparents to shame. I washed in buckets, hand showers, cold water and sometimes in beautiful baths with hot water. I ate what was put in front of me (most of the time). So far it was truly a journey. But I have also crossed Lake Victoria on a ferry during sunrise, held children on my lap, missing my own kids, saw amazing views and the splendour of nature. I experienced the presence and blessings of God, His guidance and His protection and how He was working miracles all the time. And I see how He uses me and how He is doing a great work. I feel truly blessed.
