The Aint Nothin but a Hound dog event, held at the Lagerhaus Brewery and Grill on July 2nd, was an event fit for a King. And, just after all nine of the Suncoast Animal League hounds were introduced, the King, Elvis made his appearance with his own unique rendition of Hound Dog. It didnt take long before the music was rocking, hounds were baying, hips were shaking and the drool was flying. By the time we finished with some great food, drinks, some corny jokes from our emcee Eric and a rousing game of animal trivia, two of the hounds, Lucy and Pluto, were adopted and Clifford followed shortly after. It was a very successful and fun event. We would like to thank our supporters for being there, our fosters for bringing the hounds, the adopters, the King, Weyerbacher Last Chance IPA and our host, Lagerhaus Brewery and Grill. Let me just say to everyone involved, Thank you, Thank You very much!
