The American Cancer Society is teaming up with Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C) to raise money for cancer research and to build excitement for the 2015 Relay season in conjunction with the Stand Up To Cancer star-studded fundraising special, which will air simultaneously on ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC and many cable networks on Friday, September 5th. With your help, the American Cancer Society is hosting hundreds of Stand Up To Cancer Telecast viewing parties across the nation with Relay For Life volunteers! The hour-long, commercial-free telecast highlights the work of Stand Up To Cancers Dream Teams of cancer researchers and acknowledges donors - including the American Cancer Society - who make it all possible. The televised event will also feature celebrity ambassadors and exciting musical performances. Participating in a telecast viewing party is a great way to kick start the 2015 Relay For Life season with a bang! Each party is expected to have at least 75-100 people in attendance, maybe more! So invite all your Relay family, friends, captains, committees, and supporters as we, a nation of Relayers, collaborate with SU2C to STAND UP TO FINISH THE FIGHT! Registration is $25 per person and includes a commemorative STAND UP TO FINISH THE FIGHT t-shirt, luminaria, and food.
