The American government, that is the people who run the government (the system is good notwithstanding the abuse) are so out of control and afraid of their own shadow and want total control they’ll do anything to spy on anyone all under the guise of “national security”. The actions by the Obama Administration are so far outside the guidelines of the “Patriot act” and unconstitutional all of those involved should go to jail. The most serious misuse of government power in American history and they are attempting to defend it, deceive, distract and confuse the American people so they can continue the spy game. We must consider that the government is now spying on even the most senior officials and court judges, yes even the Supreme Court, which suggests that the government can then use information obtained through its spy programs to force agreement or decisions in concert with that of the government’s agenda. One cannot dismiss this potential because we have seen over many years that our government has been attempting to gather information on the opposition, which can be either Party depending on who controls the Whitehouse. I find nothing that say the Supreme Court has approved the spying on American citizens or the collection of millions of phone, internet and text data records. The fact that the government believes it needs this information on its own citizens tells me that our government does not support the Constitution, specifically the 4th Amendment and perhaps the 1st Amendment.
