The Amplified Bible says, “Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul, and forget not [one of] all His benefits.” The word benefit means something that is advantageous or good; an advantage. AN ADD-vantage. Anytime you add to it gets bigger and better. Why would you not want to give him praise. Why would you give into sin. Its because you need a closer walk with god. Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace. (Romans 6:14 NLT) Do not be rules by things that are not of god. His promises are there for the taking.
