The Animal Advisory Committee is Seeking Applicants Clark County is currently taking applications for The Animal Advisory Committee. The Animal Advisory Committee holds public meetings at least quarterly, in the evenings and makes recommendations based on community input on issues pertaining to the review and development of rules, regulations and ordinances for the care and control of animals in the County. Committee members serve either one- or two-year terms. Qualifications: The committee shall consist of one member from each of the following groups: licensed veterinarians, nonprofit humane groups, animal breeders or handlers, large animal groups or equine conservation groups and the general public. The sixth member of the committee shall be a non-voting member from the student body of the Clark County School District.
