Pictures of piers taken from below the pier have always fascinated me. So, when my friend Ratul asked me where to go to test out his new camera I suggested that we go to the Oceanside Pier. It was about 15 miles north of my home in Solana Beach. We were really depressed, when we arrived at the Pier. The sky was overcast and the chance of seeing a spectacular sunset was limited.
