The Annual Girlfriend Weekend 2014 The Jefferson Texas Pulpwood Queen Book Club hosts the 2014 book festival. This year the theme is Viva Las Vegas, Baby! Dressing up is not required but who can resist finding just the right costume this year. There are plenty of Las Vegas characters you could portray. Featuring over 50 Authors including dinner served to participants by authors on Thursday night. You will never have an opportunity like this anywhere else on the planet. Each day participants and the public are welcome to stop in the vendors area to buy books and other fashionable items. Thursday is registration and then dinner with the Authors. Friday includes Author Panels during the day and then get ready for ELVIS to show up that evening. Saturday Author Panels all day and then....then.....then....Its the Grand Finale-Great Big Ball of Hair Ball! Attendees will need to pre-purchase books prior to having the books signed. As all authors are encouraged to participate in all activities, feel free to ask for books to be signed by those authors throughout the weekend. But do note, some authors will not be able to stay, alas…. To ensure you get your books signed, go immediately to the AUTHOR AUTOGRAPH TABLES after they speak and have books already pre-purchased. That Bookstore in Blytheville, an independent bookstore in Blytheville, Arkansas, will provide the BOOK STORE for all the author books for the event.
