The Arab and Muslim worlds are not monolithic. As a religious Muslim from the UK explained to me the megaphone is in the hands of the extremists, making them the dominant voices in the Arab and Muslim worlds. But there are other voices out there. Its ironic that MEMRI, so often denounced as a source of Islamophobia, is actually one of the few places where westerners can hear these alternative voices.
