The Army Cyber Institute (ACI) formally opened its doors, with a ribbon cutting at ceremony at West Point, Oct. 3. The ACI is expected to be the U.S. Armys premier resource for strategic insight, advice, and exceptional subject matter expertise on cyberspace related issues. The ACI created the Cyber Leader Development Program, which offers cadets up to 800 hours of extra-curricular cyber related training and experience. The program is geared to identify talent and grow future cyber warriors for our Army and Nation, in order to protect cyberspace critical infrastructure. Additionally, this training will permit select cadets to serve in highly specialized technical cyber security positions within United States Army Cyber Command and other organizations upon graduation.
