The Armys Directorate of Public Works has been working around the clock to restore power outages resulting from yesterdays strong winds and downed trees and electric poles. Theyve been able to restore power for a number of neighborhoods; however, repairs are still underway for the following Schofield housing areas: -Akolea Point housing -Portions of McMahan Village housing -Santa Fe housing -Portions of Hendrickson housing DPW officials estimate repairs could take from 24 to 48 hours to restore power for these neighborhoods. DPW will continue to work through the day and night until the power is restored. We will post additional updates as they become available. Thank you for your patience and understanding, and kudos to DPW for their tireless efforts!
