The Art Of Life. My life is the same as yours,its full of twists and turns, ups and downs.Im glad to say that presently despite the odd blip life overall is good, the gods are smiling on me for sure. But I have no control on when our how I will leave this life or what happens to friends and family in their life. What I do realize is that as good as life can be it is not all down to me, the support I receive from family and friends is immeasurable. Friendship, love and trust are surely some of the most potent medicines we can receive. My original painting here is all about friendship, love and trust. It was also inspired by the writing of Richard Bach and his story of Jonathan Livingston Seagull. I have titled it YOUVE GOT A FRIEND (yes taken from the Carol King song of the same name). My painting shows two old friends meeting again perhaps even after lifetimes apart, but their bond of friendship, love and trust remains unbroken no matter where they are on their own life journeys. Medium for this contemporary work is acrylic on stretch canvas and the size in metric is W.35cm x H.45cm that is 14 x 18 in inches.
