The Atlantic Ocean In exactly one month we will begin the long and exciting voyage of crossing the Atlantic Ocean. Liberté have been signed up in a race called the ARC. It’s more of a social race than an actual race, but there is however still a price for the first boat across We will depart from Las Palma in the Canaries Isle together with more than 200 other boats at midday on the 24th of November. After 2-3 weeks with nothing but water around us we should be arriving in St. Lucia in the Caribbean. The engine, generator, docking system, and the whole rig have been checked and repaired. The last security requirements have also been implemented so all in all Liberté has never been more ready for this voyage than now. The most important part on a trip like this is the crew, and I am very happy to say that the Atlantic crew is looking really good. The crew will consist of a total of 6 people who are all from Denmark. This is the first time I have had a complete Danish crew. Everyone comes with previous sailing experience and other technical and cooking skills. Today we will continue to sail from Cartagena to Marbella along the southern Spanish, Costa del Sol
