The Awakening As I woke that morn all the sheep were - TopicsExpress

The Awakening As I woke that morn all the sheep were shorn and the wool was clearly clean, and I was in awe at this thing I saw - not a soul upon that scene. As the day wore on I was further drawn to a sight across the sky, when I felt the jolt of a lightning bolt but the ground was good and dry. Then the clock struck three and it startled me, as the moon and stars appeared, and they danced around to celestial sound sure the gods had engineered. Then the ancient oak was upright and spoke and it praised the mourning dove, which itself was heard with a single word and that single word was Love. Then it plainly said not to mourn the dead when they seized the other side, for the field yet flowed as you reached that road where the atoms never died. Then it spoke to me with propensity and a lock and lease on light, and a voice as calm as a soothing balm said to sleep in peace that night. -Richard Doiron
