The Ayitian (Haitian) Revolution was started by Afrikan women. Often times when we are told about our story we dont get the full jist of it. True indeed Boukman was the chosen one to lead the Bwa Kay Iman ceremony which was the Vodou (Afrikan Spirituality) on August 14, 1791 that started the revolution. Like Nile Valley Spirituality kings/great leaders are chosen through the line of the Divine Feminine.
