The BLACK STARS is the NATIONAL TEAM of GHANA and is not for any POLITICAL PARTY, I remember in 2006, when we QUALIFIED for the WORLD CUP for the FIRST TIME in 76yrs, since the COMMENCEMENT of the WOELD CUP, there was SPOTANEOUS JUBILATION NATONWIDE, everyone was HAPPY, both the YOUNG AND the OLD. But since 2009, our SPORTS have been POLITICISED, and it has AFFECTED the BLACK STARS too, look at the DISGRACE, and INTERNATIONAL EMBARASSMENT that we experienced bcos of the INEPTITUDE of some ELEMENTS in GOVT and the PRESIDENCY, transporting over $4m to BRAZIIL which was UNPRECEDENTED. There were some UNSCRUPULOUS elements Who even suggested that, we put the IMAGE of PRESIDENT MAHAMA onthe JERSEYS of the BLACK STARS, how can any RATONAL BEING think that way, and bcos of these IRRATIONAL POLITICAL INTERFERENCE, many GHANAIANS, dnt SUPPORT the BLACK STARS, NO WONDER, the LACK of SUPPORT during the AFCON QUALIFIERS, bcos SOME of the PLAYERS also MESSED UP, during the WORLD CUP in BRAZIL, and many dnt LOVE the BLACK STARS again, bcos inthis TOURNAMENT, the SPIRIT of the GHANAIANS are not with the STARS again, look at the LOW SUPPORT they are getting inthis AFCON, bcos of UNNECESSARY POLITICISATION, and NONSENSICAL COMMENTS from POLITICIANS, esp people in GOVT, who have POLITICISE OUR SPORTS, So how can the BLACK STARS do well without the SUPPORT of GHANAIANS. What is eveN ANNOYING is that , the MINISTRY of YOUTH AND SPORTS have said, that whether, WIN, LOSE OR DRAW, they will get $5,000 and now G,N.PC. will also add another $5,000, so it means yesterday, eventhough the BLACK STARS lost, they will get $10,000 each, when we are in DUMSOR, and we cannot REDUCE PETROL DRASTICALLY, how can GHANAIANS SUPPORT the STARS, that is why the STARS are having LOW SUPPORT and this is the RESULT.
