The Bahcheli review of Rocklands has revealed that HBC planning - TopicsExpress

The Bahcheli review of Rocklands has revealed that HBC planning told Rocklands that they could remove trees and build the storage building. This advice was in contradiction of planning conditions and should not have been given. We are now concerned that other works at Rocklands might in the same negligent way have been given the green light by HBC planning. We have written to planning requesting further information on this. Please see the email text below: Dear Mr Hubbard Given that the Bahcheli report has revealed that HBC planning have made serious errors in giving permission for tree removals and for the construction of the storage building we are very concerned that other permissions might also have been granted to Rocklands. • Can you please let us know whether explicit verbal or written permissions were given for any of the following works at Rocklands: o Car parks o Roads o Terracing of the slopes o Installation of caravans o Lighting o Drainage o Solar Panels o The advertising sign on Rocklands Lane o The sump and pump mentioned in the environment report o The conversion of the toilet building We have until now believed that these had all been done without permission. However given the revelations of the Bahcheli report and the fact that you kept the information about tree removals and the storage unit quiet we now seek written assurance from you that none of your officers either verbally or in writing told Rocklands that they could undertake any of these works. Thanks in advance Chris Hurrell On behalf of the Save Ecclesbourne Campaign Group
