The Battle Ground JROTC Tigers did outstanding today at the Clover Park competition in Tacoma, WA! Will post pictures tomorrow, but here is one of Lindsay with Bradley. He was presented with his own uniform today by the Cadets, Colonel, & Chief (thanks Julie for helping plan/coordinate all that!) Here are the results from todays meet: 1st Place Individual Armed - Cadet Trey Bardonski 1st Place Dual Armed - Cadets Trey Bardonski & Ryan Williamson 1st Place Unarmed Drill Commander - Trey Bardonski 2nd Place Unarmed Drill (only .6 of a single point behind 1st place team!) 3rd Place Sporter Division Air Rifle Team 3rd Place Individual Sporter Shooter - Cadet Nick Nicholas Cross 4th Place Precision Individual Shooter - Cadet Lindsay Owens 4th Place Precision Division Air Rifle Team 4th Place Armed Drill Team 6th Place Individual Physical Fitness Women - Cadet Elena Jarvis 6th Place Individual Sporter Shooter - Cadet Ryan Bailey 6th Place Color Guard Team #1 - Cadets K. Harris, Jarvis, Womack andHillin The next drill meet will be at Prairie High School, here in Clark County, on February 22nd. It is also the State Championship for these categories and competition for qualifying to regionals. Some Battle Ground teams have already secured slots to the Regional Championships in Oak Harbor in March, and the Unarmed Drill Team has already been selected for the Masters Level National Championships in Florida in May. Its been a great year, with some exciting competitions yet to come! Great job BGHS JROTC Cadets! Go Air Force...Go Tigers!!!
