The Bible couldve used more humor. Listening to 30 hours of the Old Testament was SO grueling (mean jealous God says kill, kill, kill YAWN) so I am not even sure Ill finish listening to the OT. I am 10 hours into the New Testament now and the Jesus character is refreshing and at least interesting, but it is still a boring listen overall. Oh I wish Matthew, Luke, Mark and Paul were funnier. No cream pies in faces, no fart jokes, and no practical jokes anywhere. NOTE TO KING JAMES: You couldnt find an editor to have Jesus speak through a few dirty Nantucket limericks instead of the parables? How do you expect this to be a page turner? Consider a wedgie for Judas, maybe a few practical jokes on Marys virginity where all the disciples say they slept with her, then before they stone her they laugh cuz it was just a joke. Punch this text up with old classics like, Walk this way, Is that a stone in your pocket or are you happy to see me?, Take my wife, Please, Do you know the way to Bethlehem, Waiter, theres a fly in my last supper,Dont call me Shirley and Why the long face? https://youtube/watch?v=SqHN-LDFjh8&index=1&list=PL66F0EDFA4E5FE156
