The Bible is Gods revelation of truth. The Holy Spirts indwelling presences a necessity Hes the one who makes clear the meaning of the Word. Illuminates the mind of each person who seeks to know God. When we read, our Helper opens our understanding to the text so that we can grasp its significance. We never outgrow this need for Him. Even a mature believer experiencing meditation of Scripture requires as much revelation. Grasping a new truth from Scripture gets us excited and inspires us to apply what weve learned. As we intregrate one truth into our life, the Spirit of God reveals others. Learning about God and conforming to the image of Jesus Christ are the highest ambitions of Christianity. Learn to apply scriptural principles. We cant expect to understand the Bible if we refuse to obey its precepts. We must ask for a revelation of our sin. When we repent our heart opens to His illumination. Thank You Father, for our Helper.
