The Bible verse, love the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength has been in my thoughts every day this past week. And the one thing that keeps going over and over in my mind is, if we actually fulfilled this verse in our lives, this would be the only thing we would have time to do. Just think about it, loving the Lord with everything that you are. That just amazes me. And I think that is exactly what the Lord wants us to do. He is telling me through this Bible verse that my time is precious. My time is so precious that it must be preoccupied with him. Now, you may wonder then how do we live the rest of our lives? How do we work, how do we provide for ourselves, how do we do the things that involve everyday living if we are spending all our time loving God with everything? I believe that he is telling us as believers that being preoccupied with loving him means we are also trusting him with all my heart, our soul, our mind and our strength. That we are taking to heart what jesus said in Bath you chapter 6 encouraging us to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and everything else will be at it to us. I am also convinced that there is no way you or I to do this without the Holy Spirit working this commandment out in our lives. He becomes the helper as Jesus said. So my courage mint to you is to focus on loving him today. Focus on the love that you have for him in your heart in your mind in your soul and your strength.
