The Big Picture If their is an issue to get all hot under the collar about why not gripe about War and Money? This first pie chart shows the US Governments funding sources. You will see that taxes account for less than 25% of total Government revenue. You will see that $1.5 trillion dollars is being borrowed each year to keep the military adventure tourism industry aka the war machine aka the military industrial complex going. That is 39% of government income. Someone has to pay that back. When you borrow more than you take in in taxes, its a problem. Neither Democrats nor Republicans can manage US Government spending US government is printing money like crazy, $300 billion dollars this year alone. 7% of government revenue. By the way all this means is that of all the money that exists in the US Government, only 7% of that is actually converted into paper money. The rest are digital receipts. Do you see a problem? GLOBAL WARMING, DEFORESTATION, blah blah, Obama wants to spend 3% of government income on the environment and energy. By the way veterans benefits are military spending so add 6 + 55 = 61% of us spending will be Military. The money coming in is dirty and the money going out is misspent, America is heading for a cliff, and your issue healthcare accounts for less than 5% of government spending.
