The Bishop is very correct; the earlier Christians worship on Sabbath day. Jesus instructed His disciples to observe the Sabbath after His death (Matt. 24:20). Christian Worship on Sunday was decreed by the Emperor Constantine the Great, the first Roman Emperor to Covert to Christianity. Although; he did not officially convert, until his death Bed in May 337A.D. He convenes the first Ecumenical Council. The Council of Nicaea, instituting the Nicene Creed in 325A.D. At that council the Books of the Bible as we know it today were chosen by the Bishops of the East, the West and the North African Churches. That was about 400years before the advent of Islam in North Africa. He was the Roman Emperor that stops the persecution of Christians. In 313 A.D. Constantine developed the Edict of Milan. The edict stated that Christians should be allowed to follow their faith without oppression. This removed penalties for professing Christianity, under which many had been Martyred (Killed) previously, and returned confiscated Church properties. Later in 321A.D. Constantine instructed that Christians and non-Christians should be united in observing the venerable day of the sun, referring to the sun-worship that Aurelian had established as an official cult of the Roman Empire. SUN-DAY is the Day of the Sun. The day, the Romans Worship the Pagan God of the SUN, The SUN GOD. youtube/watch?v=CaCzHYK7QNs&sns=fb
