The Black Cadillac is having a tune up... Yesterday Sid got the first of 3 doses of wormer Ill give him every two weeks to shift any unwanted worm burden. I also ordered a Barclays electric wind suck collar to nip that awful habit in the bud. Today Swans Veterinary Services came out and checked and done his teeth (his wolf teeth were a mission, thanks Hennie!). It was also his first time in the crush (that Im aware of), I played with him on line prior to the appointment and really got him thinking about the puzzles. First with all four feet on the tyre then in the crush. By the time Hennie arrived he was yoyoing into and out of the crush from 45!!! Most impressive for a 2 yo TB!! (I love Sid, can you tell?) Tomorrow Steve Van den Broeke is coming out to trim his feet and Im starting him on Biotin as a supplement to fix up his terrible flaky, soft feet. This horse is gonna be singing from the inside out when he hits the track!
