The Bottom Line Could we as a very special favor to me just because its Christmas subtract all the supernatural and superstitious nonsense created by organized religions as powerfully conditioned you might be to these beliefs that were created during the emotional, irrational period of human history when there was little knowledge and the analytical tools that existed were imagination and fantasy driven by overheated sensibilities created by phobic levels of fear? If we could accomplish this my analysis becomes logically irrefutable, and incontrovertible, and blatantly obvious, that the motivation relied on determined the nature of human culture, shaped the attitude of those who were stronger towards all others; and, determined, thus far immutably the intrinsic and extrinsic nature of human culture. And when moral values were discovered and began to have an impact on human affairs a mere two or three thousand years ago, a drop in the bucket of human history undocumented and documented which spanned a currently unimaginable period of time upwards of Two Hundred and Twelve Thousand years, the knowledge did not exist to change so moral values were embraced in concept; and, human beings continued to be what they were during the undocumented history of the species amoral animals; and, behavior inconsistent with these values were consigned to the subconscious compartment of the human psyche. Over time the practice of this dual approach to existence caused us to become deluded idiots lumbered and burdened by the massive delusion created by the amount of experience consigned to the subconscious compartment of the mind, not the least of these being all things associated with using force to motivate the other which produced action inconsistent with moral values. It is incontrovertible that for most of human history what created function was coercion, unlimited coercion, whips and chains created wealth by driving labor; it was the basis for the family and was the cement that held this together; it preserved order and created the authority of governments dissent was met with unmitigated force and brutally suppressed and a change of government was accomplished by a superior force; coercion created the order and discipline for imparting knowledge to the elite who were educated. With the advent of democracy coercion was limited but no alternative was created to motivate the attitudes and patterns of behavior required for societal order, functioning and progress leading to the situation in democracies today; because motivation was something we could not think about because to think about this we would have to be aware of the unrelieved brutality we were, and are, capable of; so no alternative means was substituted for coercion. But one man, me, stumbled upon the means to transfer knowledge of experience from the subconscious to the conscious compartment of my mind where it could be mediated by intelligence and limited by the dictates of my conscience producing this rational and logical analysis of the evolution of human culture. And, by the way, I was conditioned to moral values during socialization and even practiced these while growing up, this being necessary so that when I had to go it on my own and independently satisfy my needs, wants and desires I could and would be prone to guilt because satisfaction of these required that I act inconsistent with moral values so I had to learn to consign material to my subconscious compartment of my mind; but telling the truth as much as humanly possible which I stumbled on by accident overcame this laming of my intellect. I must provide a contemporary example of knowledge of experience being consigned to the subconscious compartment of the mind – an African American woman crashes into a barricade surrounding the White House, she is surrounded and escapes running into but not serious wounding one of the security personnel; and, leads them on a chase until soon being again surrounded and opens her car door and while running away she is shot five times in the back shot down like a mangy cur or rabid skunk the victim of wholly unnecessary deadly force not much different from Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown or the twelve year old boy; or the victim of the “I Can’t Breathe” chokehold but no one know this but me because everyone else has consigned this to the subconscious compartments of their minds. The obvious answer is to reject and renounce coercion; and, become adept at utilizing positive reinforcements to motivate the other but no one can do this because all cannot think about issues associated with motivation because of guilt; and, to accomplish this would require the powerful to preside over the liquidation of the means, the attitudes and patterns of behavior which catapulted them to power and they cannot do this. But they must because if they do not it is probable there will be a nuclear holocaust; but it is inevitable that we will precipitate species suicide and the demise of life on this planet as we know it by simply continuing to burn fossil fuels. So my accident, my stumbling on the means to think about motivation provides the opportunity to change and to confront humanity with the alternative that faces them today, change or perish, but to grasp this opportunity requires that large numbers do what I did, begin to tell the truth as much as humanly possible. It is not enough to tell the truth opportunistically when it suits our interests and it sometimes does, but as much as humanly possible about friends and family as I did when I said my mother gave my father more ‘bun’ than he would endure if trapped in a forest fire, or that my beloved daughter made me homeless; and, most difficult of all about myself revealing my poverty, homelessness and loneliness; and the most difficult component of this intellectual and philosophical enterprise is to confront the undeniable, incontrovertible fact that the vast majority of us have not broken and divested ourselves of the habits learned in the ‘state of nature’ and continue to be amoral animals and deluded idiots; and this actually telling the truth is made immeasurably more difficult because telling the truth and doing the right thing attracts the ultimate sanction you cannot satisfy any need, want or desire as I have learned the hard way and is the reason for my poverty, homelessness and loneliness but there is no viable alternative we must do this to resolve the human dilemma though no one knows this but me and the only way to know this is, need I say it, by telling the truth as much as humanly possible. This is the bottom line tell the truth or humanity and everything else perishes. N.B. I sat and wrote this from beginning to end without stopping and published this without editing I deemed it so important; and, then I went back and edited it and will share this version everywhere I can as a Christmas present to humanity. I provide this information as evidence of what can be accomplished by telling the truth as much as humanly possible and so overcoming the laming of your intellect by guilt in the hope that someone out there as frustrated as I am with the drift to species suicide will actually try this prescription.
