The Boyers Mill Road Closure begins in less than 24 hours! Boyers Mill Road will be closed (at the bridge crossing) as of 3am on Saturday morning (11/15) and the road will not reopen until Sunday at 9pm (at the latest). Crews will be working on Saturday from 7am-9pm and on Sunday from 8am-9pm (at the latest). There will be noise associated with this construction work and residents can expect to hear construction noise during the designated working hours. ADDITIONAL EMERGENCY SERVICES WILL BE PROVIDED: The New Market Volunteer Fire Company will be setting up a secondary post at the LLA Office on Friday evening (11/14) and these responders will stay on the Coldstream side of the bridge until the road is reopened. This secondary team will have a fire truck and an ambulance stationed on the Coldstream side of Boyers Mill Bridge to respond to emergencies more quickly. We would like to acknowledge that our local fire company is supported by volunteers. We very much appreciate the care and concern that is being dedicated to this weekend and to making our community safe during the road closure. This secondary post requires additional man power and time from our local first responders and we would like to thank all the men and women of the New Market Volunteer Fire Company who support our community in times of need.
