The British Council Taipei and Lih-Pao Cultural Arts Foundation are working in partnership to host a sculpture competition called,「The 2nd Lih-Pao International Sculpture Biennial Awards」. The competition is open for submission to all international and Taiwan local participants from now until 31 Oct 2013. The award is a platform for young emerging artists to showcase their talents and an opportunity for international exchanges. We hope to encourage the artists, who are yet to be famous but have been devoted to art creation for a long period of time, to exhibit their works and to engage in a dialogue and exchange with global art circles. The theme of this year’s competition is on the sustainability between a circle and a square. The idea derives from the expression of how humans and the environment sustain their co-existence in between the circle and the square. As always FEEL FREE TO SHARE!
