The Building and Construction Trades union is organizing a rally at the Capitol in Jeff City for noon on March 26th. They are inviting everyone to STAND UP FOR THE MIDDLE CLASS. Quite a few of us from St. Charles County are going and would love to see dozens more. The majority party in our legislature is determined to pass what they call right to work but should really be called right to treat workers like slaves. Its criminal when such a large percentage of the homeless population are people working full time but not making enough for rent, utilities and food. This shouldnt be happening in the land of opportunity and justice for all. Please join us March 26 in Jeff City. Sierra Club and other environmental groups will be visiting legislators that day too, so we can do double duty.
