The Burns family went to see the new Star Trek movie today. I had low expectations from previous reviews but personally enjoyed it. There were two swapped references to earlier Star Trek movies that even the peripheral fan will pick out - plus a Tribble (sp?) reference. That was a bit over the top but letting that go, I enjoyed the two hours spent. Spock is so wonderfully played you forget Sulu was in the Harold and Kumar films. Well - not totally. I also really love the young Scotty. I dislike the young Bones. Eh - still worth the money.
