The Cambridge office of Randstad Education is one of the most successful, experienced and busy branches in the country. Our knowledgeable team of consultants have worked for Randstad for a collective total of 36 years – an average of over 5 years per consultant. Our consultants are regularly nominated for and win nationwide consultant of the month prizes and the office manager has been named Consultant of the year and Manager of the year! As an office, we have been based in Cambridge for over 15 years and have developed strong and lasting relationships with schools throughout Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. Drawing on our collective experience, we like to think that we have an excellent working knowledge of the education market and what our client schools are ideally looking for when recruiting for permanent and part-time posts. As a branch we support a diverse portfolio of schools and academies. These schools range in size, catchment, religious background and ethos. Within these schools the teachers and teaching assistants support with pupils of different ability levels, SEN and EAL across all of the key stages. As a team, we appreciate that every school and child is different so we can carefully match our teachers with the schools and children to which they will work to the best of their ability. The teachers we work with have to meet our strict criteria. It is important for our teachers to treat every assignment as if it is a permanent role; injecting a sense of purpose into the classroom and helping the school to the best of their ability. Our teachers and teaching assistants are encouraged to build professional relationships with pupils and staff and always ensure effective classroom management is maintained in line with each individual school’s behaviour policy.
