The Canadian Lancaster is in the hangar at Goose Bay being prepared for the next leg of its tour. All is well at the moment and take-off is still expected at 10am local time, 2pm UK time, today. Note that Labrador is 4 hours behind UK time, so 10am local is 2pm UK time, not 3pm as it was in Ontario. The local TV station, CHCH will cover the take-off, but expect lots of local news, weather, traffic, trivia and adverts. This part of the journey from Goose Bay to Iceland is a little longer than the first part, estimated at between 7 and 8 hours, but there is provision for a stopover in Greenland if it becomes necessary.
