The Cherry Orchard Chat will be putting together a community newsletter for Cherry Orchard. This will be delivered to all houses in the area. We are looking for you to send on your stories, any classes that are taking place, services for people in the area, activities that people can get involved in, information on rights and entitlements, positive news and also pictures are most welcome. If you or your organisation has information you would like included, could you please forward a brief description (maximum size per article is 150 words) including: • Activity • Times • Dates • Relevant contacts • Venue Examples include the following • Courses • Rights and Entitlements • Local activities • Public meetings planned on issues impacting the community • Structural or physical changes that might impact on a community eg. works due to start etc. • Groups or services currently operating in locality that people may not know about • Major community events • New services or projects • Relevant opening times and operating times of advice or support clinics • Times and dates of sporting activities • Sharing information about a group or activity you would like to set up • Photos from recent activities or events (electronic format) Information for the newsletter should be emailed to [email protected] or dropped in to the Tús offices in the Orchard Community Centre, Cherry Orchard Grove. The closing date for receipt of these is the 12th November We would welcome any feedback that you have and are grateful for any suggestions. Also please feel free to share this with other people.
