The Circle Maker 21 Day Prayer Challenge Day 10 Today is about answered and answering prayers! We need to keep Walter Case in our prayers. He is an elderly gentleman (93 I believe), who always sits in the very back and wears the WW2 Veteran hat. He is down in Ann Arbor for some Surgery this past Saturday. Yesterday he had some complications and was admitted to the ICU. His son called me last night while we were all out at the house working. We circled up and prayed. Talked with Walters son this morning and Walt is doing great! He is off the breathing mask and even ordered his own breakfast this morning! Praise the Lord! I started praying yesterday for my friend who is launching a business venture this week. There were two numbers that kept popping into my head: 10% and 75%. I shared this prayer with my friend the other day. They asked me: How much does the church still owe on the building? Roughly $300,000. I replied. If the Lord will grant my friend this 10% and 75% success rate, any guess as to what the tithe would be on his financial success? (I had no clue) Hint: it would get our church out of debt! If the Lord will answer this prayer, it will answer the other prayer: of our church being out of debt. SO, please be in prayer for my friends venture and please pray for these two numbers: 10% and 75%. The Lord only knows! Check out these passages! Psalm 66:13-20 16 Come and hear, all you who fear God; let me tell you what he has done for me. 17 I cried out to him with my mouth; his praise was on my tongue. 18 If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened; The Lord listens! But let us make sure that we are not cherishing sin in our hearts! Malachi 1:1, 6-14 11 My name will be great among the nations, from where the sun rises to where it sets. In every place incense and pure offerings will be brought to me, because my name will be great among the nations,” says the Lord Almighty. The entire passage is about bringing acceptable offerings to the Lord! Oh, how I pray for good and acceptable offerings, our lives, our giftedness and our monies! Revelation 14:1-13 Verse 1 talks about having Gods name written on our foreheads (remember yesterday? We need to have our mind on Godly things!). Verse 7 talks about how we need to fear and worship the God who has made ALL of creation! And the most famous verse from this passage, verse 13 Blessed are the dead who die in Christ . . . they will rest from their labor and their deeds will follow them. I hope we will all remain faithful to the end, and that are good and Godly deeds will truly follow us to the end! Eyes open. No fear. Keep praying everyone!
