The City of Raymore has embarked on a feasibility study regarding the development of a potential civic center in the future. As part of this feasibility study, a statistically valid survey of residents regarding their preferences is being conducted, and randomly selected Raymore households will receive a survey in the mail this week. ETC Institute, the survey company contracted by the City for this study, mailed surveys on May 21 to approximately 1,500 Raymore residences. In order to obtain a statistically valid sample of the community, a minimum of 300 completed surveys will be required. Should this minimum threshold of completed surveys not be returned by mail, ETC Institute will follow up with survey recipients by telephone. The more responses that are received, the lower the margin of error for the survey will be. If your household receives a survey, please take the 10 minutes or so necessary to complete and return it. The time residents invest in completing this survey will aid the City of Raymore in taking a resident-driven approach to making decisions that will enrich the future of our community and positively affect the lives of its residents.
