The Clarenville Caribous have advanced to the 2014 Allan Cup finals in Dundas, Ontario. Chris Hulit had two goals to lead the Caribous to a 5-1 victory yesterday over the Bentley Generals. Clarenville also got points from Cam Fergus, who registered a goal and an assist; while Dustin Russell and Dale Sullivan each scored a goal for the winners. Clarenville was led by goalie Jason Churchill, who finished with 34 saves while allowing one goal. This afternoons championship game between the Caribous and host team Dundas Real McCoys, is slated for 4:30 island time, 4:00 in most of Labrador.
