The Clay County Library will host Teen Night on Friday, September 20, beginning at 6:00. All Clay County teens are invited to attend. The Clay County Library Board will meet on Wednesday, September 25. There are many new books in the library this week. New fiction titles include “A Good Year” by Peter Mayle, “One Day” by David Nicholls, “W is for Wasted” by Sue Grafton, “Son of Perdition” by Wendy Alec, “In Broken Places” by Michele Phoenix, “Best Friends Forever” by Jennifer Weiner, “The Forgiven” by Lawrence Osborne, “The Wishing Tree” by Marybeth Whalen, “The Art of Hearing Heartbeats” by Jan-Philipp Sendker, and “Savannah Breeze” by Mary Kay Andrews. New nonfiction titles include “Autumn of Glory: The Army of Tennessee, 1862-1865” by Thomas Lawrence Connelly, “Into the Fire” by Dakota Meyer, “ObamaCare Survival Guide” by Nick Tate, “101 Best Resumes to Sell Yourself” by Jay Block, “The Juicing Bible” by Pat Crocker, “The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Sausage Making” by Jeff King, “Southern Living Big Book of Slow Cooking”, and “All Fired Up: Smokin Hot BBQ Secrets from the South’s Best Pitmasters” by Troy Black.
