The Clay Studio has been an active participant in the national and international field of ceramics for forty years. The Clay Studio continues to serve as an important venue for the field, providing opportunity and support for makers and championing clay’s endless creative potential as a material for the making of fine art, and educating and growing the audience of ceramic enthusiasts. For forty years The Clay Studio has served as a hub for the making of many objects that now exist within our material world, and helped to shape the taste of that world as well. The Clay Studio: Forty Years chronicles the evolution of an organization and the evolution of clays use as a material for creative expression.
