The Cleveland Browns have dumped Bernie Kosar as a preseason television analyst. From Crains Cleveland reporter Kevin Kleps: Kosar responded with a statement of his own Thursday morning, April 24, and hes not going down without a fight. The 50-year-old, who played 12 seasons in the NFL and has been frank about his struggles with post-concussion syndrome, said he believes this decision stems from my slurred speech impairment, which is a direct result of the many concussions I received while playing in the NFL. “This is very unfortunate, as I believe my football acumen and ability to describe what is happening on the field has been well received by Cleveland Browns fans, Kosar said. The fan favorite went on to say he hopes WKYC will reconsider utilizing my in-game talents and overlook my concussion-induced impairment. I want everyone to know that I still bleed Brown and Orange.”
