The Clientèle Limited Group of companies, incorporating the IFA Division, has been independently rated as a LEVEL FOUR CONTRIBUTOR (100% Recognition Level) in 2010, in accordance with all seven variables of the General Codes of Good Practice relating to Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment. The group has pro-active strategy in place (e.g. a procurement policy), so as to continually improve on its corporate social responsibility. social_responsiblity The IFA Division and Clientèle as a whole, strive to ensure that it addresses its corporate and social responsibility by maintaining ethical business practices in its interactions with its employees and the public. Clientèle not only upholds the general principles of good corporate governance, it also invests in social and community initiatives in order to encourage an improved environment for individuals within a wide cross-section of communities across South Africa. Network Marketing Opportunity By taking advantage of the IFA Business Opportunity, ordinary South Africans are able to improve their lives and their lifestyles. IFA offers all members of its network full support, training and administrative assistance, should this be required. Through the IFA Presenters network regular training initiatives provide tutorials to an average of 20 000 individuals each month. In addition to this, an average of 100 individuals receive specialised training on issues such as basic financial life skills and business building skills. With over 95% of the demographic composition of our network being historically disadvantaged individuals from disadvantaged communities, we are pleased that we are able to make a meaningful contribution to improvement in these communities. Other Initiatives Clientèle also maintains a healthy environment within the workplace by promoting positive physical and emotional health of all company employees. Concerned with social accountability, employees with chronic or life-threatening illnesses (such as HIV/AIDS) are not discriminated against. Learnerships are awarded to individuals from previously disadvantaged backgrounds, as well as those with physical or learning disabilities. National initiatives which are supported throughout the year include Casual Day (which raise funds for disabled individuals), hosting of blood donor clinics, and supporting schools by using them as IFA Presentation Venues. Environmental Sustainability Clientèle realises that in meeting the needs of its clients, it has both a direct and indirect impact on the environment. Keeping its social responsibility in mind, Clientèle ensures that it meets the needs of its clients and customers in an environmentally sound way.
